As the partnership between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean will be reinvigorated in light of the new geopolitical reality, the European Commission launched an initiative that will outline a new, comprehensive agenda to step up relations with Latin America, especially with regard to trade, investment and the digital and green transition.
To this end, the EU-LAT Network elaborated a reaction to the open call of the EU solely regarding the general political focus on this new agenda, taking into account the effects and objectives of trade, cooperation as well, whilst reaffirming the importance of mutual involvement of both civil society and the institutions in this process.
